A group exercise class aimed to improve general fitness, cycling through periodised global cardiovascular conditioning and strength blocks. The session runs for 45 minutes and is limited to 8 participants. The goals of the group class are to:
Improve cardiovascular fitness
Improve muscular strength
Improve balance
Improve Mobility

Ready to Launch - Group Exercise Class
Ready to launch is a collaborative group exercise class for Dr Phil Lockie patients who have undergone bariatric and weight loss surgical and non-surgical interventions. A trans-disciplinary approach to weight loss is the gold standard for improve outcomes in which the exercise class is only one aspect of the Dr Phil Lockie approach. The class focuses on establishing proper physical activity and exercise routines in a safe and supportive environment. The whole body class runs for 45 minutes with goals to:
Exercise for weight loss
Improve cardiorespiratory fitness.
Improve muscular strength.
Improve adherence to exercise routine.
Establish community and support for similar individuals of different stages of their weight loss journey.

Bone Health Group Class
The bone health group class is a 45 minute class commencing with a warm up, followed by a strength and impact loading circuit incorporating balance exercises. The goals of the class are to:
Manage the effects of Osteopenia & Osteoporosis.
Build muscle tone and global strength.
Improve balance & core strength.
Reduce falls & fracture risk.

Strength Training for Runners
Group strength training session for developing power, strength and efficiency specifically for running. This 45 minute class will consist of a circuit with strength exercises that focus on improving the power of each running stride so that you can feel stronger and faster when you run. For runners of all levels.

Core Restore Group Class
Core Restore is a low impact group exercise class for individuals who are wanting to improve the strength of core muscles for management of sub-acute back pain, abdominal weakness or wanting a low impact introduction to exercise training. Our class size is capped at 6 so you can get the supervision and support you need. This class is perfect for:
People with sub-acute back pain management
People with little training history
People wanting an introduction to core/pilates based training
People who have seen physiotherapists for acute pain management, but are wanting to get back into exercise training safely

Back in Motion Group Class
Our Back In Motion class is a pilates and yoga based class that will keep you mobile, improve posture and help you manage pain. This 45-minute session encompasses a combination of pilates-based core, full body and mobility exercises. It is designed to keep you moving within a pain-free range and maintain mobility. Our class size is capped at 6 so you can get the supervision you need. This class is perfect for:
Chronic back pain management and maintenance
People with a history of core strength training
People who enjoy pilates or yoga
Athletes with mobility and flexibility goals
